Clash of Clans 2023
My first rugby photos! In June 2023, I grabbed the opportunity to attend and take photos of a friendly match opposing 2 local teams (Midland Warriors Rugby XV vs Mount Temple Barbarians Rugby XV). This was a lot of fun and a good training for me.
Funnily, I thought this would be easier than taking photos of a football match, but ah, ah... not really. The players and the ball still move quite fast and my camera had sometimes troubles focusing on the right subject.

Camera used: Canon EOS R, mainly RF 100-400mm, No Flash.

Photo of Jack Carty, rugby union player from Ireland, taken just before the match. I was grateful for the opportunity, but a tad intimidated. I think I could have done better (starting with picking another lens) but I didn't want to monopolise his time.
